They are seeking a Laboratory Technician B for their QC Lab to assist in writing SOPs and Test Methods, perform laboratory functions, and make decisions on material acceptability.

Responsibilities

Assist in the writing of applicable SOPs and Test Methods

Performs applicable laboratory functions with competence and with minimal supervision

Makes decisions on acceptability of material

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Must be available to work overtime as needed

Qualification

Laboratory instruments knowledgeBasic Math CalculationsData entry/logging skillsSOP writingDecision making

Required

Assist in the writing of applicable SOPs and Test Methods

Performs applicable laboratory functions with competence and with minimal supervision

Makes decisions on acceptability of material

Must have a minimum of one year lab experience

A “B” level Technician must have a working knowledge of various laboratory instruments and be capable of interpreting routine data per SOPs

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Must be available to work overtime as needed

Basic Math Calculations relating to procedures and test results

Data entry/logging skills

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

This position requires 1 to 3 years in a Manufacturing or Lab environment
