Responsibilities

Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely manner

Monitor customer accounts, post payments, and reconcile discrepancies

Follow up on overdue accounts and support collections efforts

Collaborate with sales and plant operations to resolve billing issues

Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies

Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments

Maintain accurate AP records and support month-end close

Assist with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accuracy

Support the Controller with month-end and year-end close processes

Help prepare documentation for audits and tax filings

Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency

Qualification

Required

Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

4+ years of experience in AP/AR or general accounting/bookkeeping, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles and practices

Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and with external partners

Self-motivated and excited to work in a hands-on, dynamic startup environment

Preferred

Prior startup experience

Experience with other accounting tools/ERPs including NetSuite, Sage
