Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data pipelines using ELT workflows
Manage ingestion of file-based data from AWS S3, primarily in Parquet format
Implement dynamic tables, streams, and transformations across raw and presentation layers
Use Python to orchestrate data processing workflows
Support integration with new systems to enable data ingestion and transformation
Work collaboratively with technical and business teams to interpret and deliver on data needs
Address challenges related to data quality, transformation, and third-party ingestion
Apply performance tuning techniques and Snowflake best practices
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture and optimization
Strong Python development skills in a data engineering context
Experience with ELT frameworks and file-based ingestion patterns
Familiarity with AWS S3 and file formats such as Parquet
Knowledge of Snowpipe and dynamic table structures
Strong communication skills to interact across technical and non-technical teams
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and navigate fluid reporting structures
Preferred
Experience with mortgage, insurance, or real estate data is a plus
Familiarity with tools such as CEQAL and EWS Firehost is a bonus
