Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for managing multiple customer-facing projects
Cultivate a customer-centric culture driven by accountability, empathy, collaboration, and proactive, solution-focused action
Provide regular feedback and professional development opportunities for team members
Act as a mentor and escalation point for complex or high-risk projects
Promote best practices in project planning, documentation, and communication
Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations and contractual requirements
Oversee portfolio performance including project status, profitability, and customer satisfaction
Support team members in identifying and mitigating risks, resolving conflicts, and managing scope changes
Maintain visibility into major project milestones and proactively address issues that could impact delivery
Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure site readiness and successful installation execution
Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Installation teams to align project execution with customer requirements
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Layout and Operations to ensure material availability, delivery scheduling, and installation coordination
Participate in enterprise-level project planning meetings and communicate site-level updates as needed
Support process improvement initiatives to streamline communication and reduce project cycle times
Act as a secondary point of contact for key customers, contractors, dealers and architects as needed to support project success
Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to manage client relationships and resolve escalated issues
Represent Irwin with professionalism and integrity in all customer and partner interactions
Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Develop and standardize tools, templates, and best practices that improve project delivery consistency
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lessons-learned sessions and post-project reviews
Provide regular reporting on project performance, backlog status, and resource planning to relevant teams and leadership

Required

Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects from inception through installation
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and risk management
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical documents
Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and team support

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
7+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
Strong preference for experience in construction, architectural products, or large-scale installation project environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; project management software experience preferred
