Project Manager

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to bring in each project on or under budget by controlling costs and managing multiple concurrent construction projects of varying size.

Consulting

Responsibilities

Duties include assisting proposal activities, attendance in pre-bid meetings, selection of subcontractors, maintain project documentation, manage materials purchases
Manage project, change orders, man-loading charts, weekly progress reports, material and equipment promise dates for deliveries, completion dates and other elements as required to control the project in accordance with approved budget
Manage rental equipment delivery and pick up schedules to minimize costs
Develop and maintain project schedule
Maintain a set of report and working drawings where applicable, consulting with local building codes and AHJ’s
Acts as primary interface for owner/customers
Conduct/Attend construction meetings, maintain safety program, scheduling and change order management and project close-out documentation
Perform other duties as business needs dictate and as required
Coordinates and works with field management to manage resources in order to meet construction schedules and budgets
Attend weekly meetings with operations and finance to provide percentage of completion and cost to complete updates

Required

Dedicated professional with a passion for fire protection and safety
Experience in managing a portfolio and completing multiple concurrent construction projects of varying size
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work inter-departmentally with Sales, Superintendents, Foreman and Service staff
Proactive approach to anticipate and identify problems early and implement cost effective solutions
Assures compliance with project closeout requirements, AHJ approvals, customer training and closeout documentation
Experience in assisting proposal activities and attending pre-bid meetings
Ability to select subcontractors and maintain project documentation
Experience in managing project change orders, man-loading charts, and weekly progress reports
Ability to manage materials purchases and rental equipment delivery and pick up schedules
Experience in developing and maintaining project schedules
Ability to maintain a set of report and working drawings consulting with local building codes and AHJ's
Experience in conducting/attending construction meetings and maintaining safety programs
Ability to coordinate and work with field management to manage resources in order to meet construction schedules and budgets
Experience in attending weekly meetings with operations and finance to provide percentage of completion and cost to complete updates
