Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes

Generate timely and accurate financial statements and management reports

Maintain and optimize the chart of accounts

Track fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules

Prepare cash flow analyses and short-term projections

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost tracking

Supervise and mentor AP and AR staff, providing guidance and coverage as needed

Review and approve invoices, payments, and collections processes

Enhance internal controls and streamline accounting workflows

Document and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Support system upgrades and ERP implementation projects

Coordinate with external auditors and assist with tax compliance
