Atlantic Group is hiring a Finance & Operations Associate in New York, NY for our client’s private equity team. This in-office role supports fund accounting, investor reporting, compliance, and daily operations while collaborating with administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.

Responsibilities

Oversee quarterly and annual closes with fund administrators, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and investor reporting
Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, and fee calculations while managing cash reconciliations, credit facilities, and liquidity forecasting
Assist in investment closings, quarterly valuations, and maintenance of investment and KPI records
Drive process efficiency by automating workflows and enhancing reporting through tools such as Notion, Attio, and Airtable
Support compliance filings, policy reviews, vendor management, IT security, and coordination of firm events

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
4+ years of fund accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public and private accounting and exposure to private equity, venture capital, or fund administration
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Deep understanding of private fund structures, capital activity, financial reporting, and compliance processes
Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive professional with strong communication and problem-solving skills, adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

CPA preferred
Working knowledge of Notion, Attio, Airtable, or comparable workflow and data management tools preferred
