Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and meet revenue targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with university administrators, student affairs leaders, and benefits managers
Understand client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions that align with institutional goals and student wellness priorities
Lead contract discussions, renewals, and pricing strategies with clients and internal stakeholders
Stay informed on regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in student health insurance
Work closely with underwriting, marketing, compliance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts using sales tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Strong understanding of ACA compliance, waiver processes, and student health plan structures
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
Experience working with self-funded and fully insured student health plans
Familiarity with university procurement processes and RFP responses
Existing relationships within the higher education sector
Familiarity with student health portals, waiver systems, and enrollment platforms
