Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

Build scalable and reliable data pipelines using Apache Spark and related frameworks

Develop cloud-native applications leveraging Spring Boot and Spring Cloud

Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable backend solutions

Ensure performance, security, and reliability of services and data pipelines

Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support

Required

Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot for Microservices/API development

Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark

Experience with distributed systems and data processing frameworks

Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous processing

Cloud experience with AWS services

Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Preferred

Experience with Spring Cloud (Config, Eureka, Gateway)

Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging/streaming platforms

Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with data lakes and big data architectures
