Responsibilities
Manage and review developer-built water, sewer design projects and Permit requirements for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with standards
Perform and interpret hydraulic analyses to evaluate system capacity, pipe sizing, and flow conditions for new and existing infrastructure
Coordinate with developers, engineers, and internal project managers to resolve design and constructability issues
Conduct and participate in pre-design and progress meetings with applicants, inspectors, and local/state agencies
Develop cost estimates, track project performance, and ensure alignment with the capital improvement program and permitting requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
5+ years of progressive engineering experience, including plan review, design, analysis, and project coordination, to include Permitting processes
Proficiency with design and modeling software (e.g., CADD, AutoCAD, GIS, Bentley WaterGEMS/SewerGEMS, etc.)
Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills; able to manage multiple concurrent projects
Working knowledge of water/sewer system design standards, pump station and pressure system design, and underground utility construction
Preferred
Experience performing hydraulic reviews and constructability assessments for water and sewer projects
Familiarity with public utility development processes and capital improvement programs
