Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal standards
Conduct quantitative and qualitative industrial hygiene monitoring, including air sampling and exposure assessments
Identify potential health hazards through inspections and evaluations of laboratory and pilot plant environments
Support off-shift activities as needed for sampling and monitoring events
Deliver training and guidance to employees and leaders on hazards, safe work practices, and proper use of protective equipment
Develop and recommend control measures including engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment
Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting assessments, findings, and recommendations for compliance and reference
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or a related discipline
Certified Industrial Hygienist credential
Hands-on industrial hygiene sampling experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing environments
Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices, good laboratory practices, and regulated safety frameworks
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document findings clearly
Preferred
Master's degree in a related scientific or safety discipline
Experience supporting pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing operations
Exposure to chemical, biological, or radiological safety programs
