Responsibilities

Drafting pleadings, including, but not limited to, Complaint, Answer, Counterclaim, Demurrer, Petition for Rule to Show Cause, and Motion to Amend
Drafting Orders
Preparing and responding to discovery
Preparing witness subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum, exhibit and witness lists, Income/Expense Statement, Property Inventory, Pension Schedule, Debt Schedule, Property and Support Proffers, and Child Custody Proffer
Calculating spousal support, child support, and family debt adjustment using support guidelines
Handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Communicate with clients throughout the duration of their case

Required

At least 5 years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal
Competent in drafting pleadings, including Complaint, Answer, Counterclaim, Demurrer, Petition for Rule to Show Cause, and Motion to Amend
Competent in drafting Orders
Preparing and responding to discovery
Preparing witness subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum
Creating exhibit and witness lists
Preparing Income/Expense Statement, Property Inventory, Pension Schedule, Debt Schedule, Property and Support Proffers, and Child Custody Proffer
Calculating spousal support, child support, and family debt adjustment using support guidelines
Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Ability to communicate with clients throughout the duration of their case
