Responsibilities

Performs engineering assignments on part of a major project or of a complete project
Demonstrates creativity in developing solutions, which will allow Rockwell Automation to maintain our position as an Industry leader
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and works well within a team environment
Capable of defining and performing engineering tests to qualify designs
Capable of designing electro-mechanical test systems for various engineering design validation projects
Capable of executing engineering change orders and managing BOMs
Capable of creating and modifying CAD models and drawings

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
Co-op Requirement: eligible to work during the Spring school semester, from January through August

Preferred

Pursuing a bachelors or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering/Systems Engineering/Electrical Engineering or similar
Minimum cumulative GPA of at 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
Preference given to students with previous Rockwell Automation work experience or trained on our equipment
Experience with programming electro mechanical systems
Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise software
Familiarity with designing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical test systems which include pneumatic cylinders, limit & proximity switches, linear bearing systems
A good understanding of multi action tooling fabrication techniques to support complex plastic injection molded or die cast components
