Lead program implementation
Ensure consistent program execution
Verify production compliance
Manage sampling, testing, and product release
Oversee laboratory and support programs
Investigate and resolve quality issues
Manage reporting and escalation
Support audits and inspections
Coordinate cross-functionally
Support the QA team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field, or equivalent technical training that supports strong comprehension of food safety and quality systems
Hands-on plant experience in the food industry, including exposure to supervisory or leadership responsibilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and managing shifting priorities
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, allergen management, pasteurisation, BRCGS or other GFSI programs, and applicable food safety regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality data management systems
Ability to conduct, document, and interpret in-process checks, support investigations, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions
Ability to navigate documentation, specifications, and production records with accuracy and attention to detail
Steady, accountable, and solutions-focused approach to guiding others
Ability to coordinate tasks, support team members, and contribute to planning and executing projects that strengthen food safety and quality outcomes
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage timelines, priorities, and cross-functional collaboration
Clear, professional, and adaptable communication skills, verbal and written, including the ability to prepare reports and relay quality expectations
Ability to work directly with cross-functional teams and build productive relationships across levels and departments

Preferred

HACCP, PCQI, or other food safety certifications
