Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all international entities
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements
Oversee statutory financial reporting and audit coordination in each region
Consolidate regional financials and deliver insightful variance analysis
Drive accuracy through timely and accurate reconciliations
Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and local regulations
Manage statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and local finance teams
Monitor financial risks including currency exposure, tax compliance, and regulatory changes
Identify and execute opportunities for process standardization across regions
Drive automation of financial processes and reporting workflows
Champion continuous improvement and best practices across global finance teams
Minimize manual entries and reconciliation, including alignment with policy requirements on addressing reconciling items in a timely manner
Support ERP system transformation and integration efforts, particularly within an Oracle environment
Collaborate with IT and finance stakeholders to optimize system functionality and data integrity
Lead change management efforts related to financial systems and tools
Partner with regional and corporate leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
Provide financial insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives
Lead financial integration efforts for M&A activities in international markets
Manage and mentor regional finance professionals across multiple time zones
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
Promote diversity and inclusion in global team dynamics
Validate financial data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Detail orientated to drive financial accuracy, oversight, and compliance across the business unit
Validate effectiveness of internal control systems within the BU
Ability to work in cross-functional team environment across multiple levels of management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
Demonstrate exceptional planning, interpersonal and communication skills
Lead direct reports, monitor performance metrics, and coach team members
Identify individual goals and professional development opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent required
15+ years of progressive finance experience, including international exposure
Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements
Proven experience in process improvement, automation, and system transformation
Experience with Oracle ERP systems; system integration experience is a plus
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
Ability to travel internationally as needed
