NSMS Munitions Acceleration Material Program Manager

Responsibilities

Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
Lead by influence in a matrixed organization
Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
Customer Proposal support including generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s) as well as labor basis of estimates (BOEs)
Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
Financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.). The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager
Overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc
Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
Management of timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management
Support MRP Scheduling and Master Data requests
Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be <20%)

Required

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Secret - Current

Preferred

Advanced Microsoft Office skillset
Advanced Supply Chain Planning tool experience (i.e. SAP/PRISM, Kinaxis, MFT, ROMS, etc.)
Experience with proposals or material estimating
MPM Level 4 (or higher) Certification
EVMS Certification
PM Level 7 (or higher) Certification
