Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Cisco UC to Zoom migration projects, including assessment, design, planning, and execution
Analyze existing Cisco UC infrastructure (CUCM, Unity Connection, IM & Presence, Expressway, CUBE) and define migration strategies
Design hybrid/coexistence architectures to support phased migrations
Migrate users, numbers, dial plans, call flows, voicemail, and auto-attendants from Cisco to Zoom
Configure and administer Zoom Phone, Zoom Meetings, and Zoom Rooms
Integrate Zoom with existing enterprise systems (AD, SSO, SIP trunks, PSTN providers)
Execute number porting, SIP trunk migrations, and PSTN cutovers
Perform detailed testing, validation, and user acceptance before cutover
Troubleshoot complex voice, video, and signaling issues during migration
Develop migration runbooks, rollback plans, and technical documentation
Provide post-migration optimization and stabilization support
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in Unified Communications / Collaboration engineering
Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco UC including: CUCM, Unity Connection, IM & Presence
Cisco CUBE and SIP normalization
Proven experience migrating Cisco UC environments to Zoom Phone
Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, codecs, call flows, and dial plans
Experience with enterprise PSTN connectivity, number porting, and carrier coordination
Strong hands-on experience with Zoom UC platforms, especially Zoom Phone
Solid understanding of VoIP fundamentals (SIP, RTP, codecs, call flows)
Solid networking knowledge (QoS, VLANs, firewalls, NAT, SBCs)
Experience supporting global, multi-site voice deployments
