Select Source International is seeking a motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier oversight and continuous improvement for component and sub-assembly suppliers. This role focuses on resolving supplier quality issues, improving manufacturing processes, and driving performance through data, standards, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate resolution of quality and manufacturing issues related to supplier components and sub-assemblies
Investigate and analyze technical issues involving supplier quality, tooling, and manufacturing processes
Provide technical guidance to internal teams and suppliers on appropriate manufacturing processes
Review and approve validation reports and First Article Inspection (FAI) submissions
Establish supplier performance targets and monitor ongoing performance against defined metrics
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, OEMs, and joint-venture partners
Develop, track, and close project plans and corrective action items
Maintain and monitor supplier quality policies, procedures, metrics, and data logs
Support on-site supplier audits and problem-solving activities (domestic travel up to 25%)

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
0–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, quality, or component design
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Preferred

Experience using structured problem-solving tools (5 Whys, 8D, DMAIC, Pareto, DOE)
Basic understanding of statistical tools (SPC, process capability, control limits)
Exposure to ISO-regulated manufacturing environments or ISO standards
Knowledge of GD&T and measurement methods
Experience working with Oracle
Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
Strong communication and collaboration skills
