Responsibilities
Support Senior Project Engineers in a variety of tasks to support design of transportation facilities, including design of highways, pedestrian facilities, bicycle facilities, and transit improvements
Development of geometric alignments
Preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates and the development of technical reports
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
Relevant internship/job experience related to transportation engineering required
0-4 years of relevant work experience
Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple assignments
Preferred
Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
