As a Social Media Content Creator Intern, you will create engaging Instagram content that promotes scholarships, mentorship programs, and college access initiatives, directly shaping how students learn about and access support from the organization.

Responsibilities

Create engaging Instagram content (posts and Reels) that highlights scholarships, mentorship programs, financial aid resources, and college access opportunities

Turn complex information into clear, motivating, student-friendly content

Research and feature organizations and programs that support underserved student communities (first-generation, low-income, student parents, working students, students experiencing housing insecurity, etc.)

Maintain a simple content calendar aligned with application milestones (FAFSA, scholarship deadlines, college application cycles)

Collaborate with the website and outreach teams to ensure content is consistent with current resources and campaigns

Track engagement and provide insights on which content resonates most with students

Help build the voice, trust, and online community of No Barriers Education
