Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of core projects aimed at redefining the telemetry infrastructure for critical log collection and transport
Design and build robust on-device system process integrations for efficient telemetry data collection and API-based data transport
Introduce enhancements to logging mechanisms to enable faster insights and streamlined debugging
Propose and drive major reliability and scalability improvements within the existing on-device telemetry infrastructure

Required

5+ years of hands-on experience writing code that runs on-device (embedded systems, Android native, etc.)
Strong proficiency in at least one of the following: Kotlin, Rust, C++, Java
Proven experience with Android system components such as: Android native processes, Android application development, Android system server, Android AIDL, SELinux, GMSCore SDK development
Experience designing and implementing inter-process or inter-app communication mechanisms
Familiarity with SELinux policies and Android permission models
Deep understanding of the Android framework
Passion for building high-performance on-device telemetry solutions for firmware, system logs, and product metrics
