Senior Proposal and Business Development Manager

Responsibilities
Manage the proposal funnel, tracking inbound opportunities, deadlines, and assignments while maintaining accurate CRM data
Partner with the Vice President of Business Development and firm leadership to shape and execute business development strategy
Coordinate directly with EVPs on proposal and pursuit strategy, ensuring alignment with client needs, firm priorities, and competitive positioning
Lead and oversee proposal development efforts, ensuring timely, high-quality, and brand-consistent submissions
Evaluate public RFPs and procurement platforms, conducting detailed reviews and supporting go or no-go decisions
Support lead qualification by assessing market fit, client readiness, and alignment with firm capabilities
Participate in client-facing business development calls and meetings to support relationship development and opportunity advancement
Support scheduling, follow-up, and coordination of business development outreach across leadership and consulting teams
Collaborate with marketing to align business development efforts with broader marketing initiatives and messaging
Contribute to proposal content, presentations, and client-facing marketing materials
Maintain, organize, and continuously improve proposal templates, resumes, and marketing resources
Mentor and guide business development team members, providing coaching and functional leadership
Monitor pipeline activity and business development metrics to inform prioritization and resource planning
Represent Hunden Partners at industry events and conferences to build visibility and relationships
Identify opportunities to improve business development processes, tools, and workflows
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in business development, proposal management, marketing, or sales operations, preferably in professional services or consulting
Demonstrated experience in client-facing business development and lead qualification
Strong understanding of the RFP process, proposal strategy, and pursuit decision-making
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Experience managing complex, deadline-driven workflows and coordinating cross-functional teams
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
A strategic, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
Adobe InDesign experience preferred
