Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

Responsible to the Warehouse Manager for all duties of warehouse workers assigned
Reconciles and verifies material received against Job Material Lists (JML) and procurement file data
Performs receipt inspection and identification of both government and contractor furnished material
When material is successfully verified and receipt inspected, receives on the PO so invoicing can proceed
Maintains inventory, tags for identification and stores material in designated storage areas segregating government furnished and contractor furnished material and equipment
When identified by Project and/or Program Manager, prepare stored material for shipment to jobsites
Receives excess material and arranges with Program Manager disposition for reuse or disposal
Maintains clean and environmentally controlled storage space and maintains building security
Directs warehouseman efforts in orderly and safe movement of material and equipment in the warehouse
Direct the safe transport of material in Delphinus vehicles to local worksites
Manages all shipments outside the immediate area with qualified carriers including the proper shipment of hazardous materials and hazardous waste
Directs warehousemen in operation of fork trucks, pallet trucks and other equipment used in loading and unloading trucks
Operates fork trucks, pallet jacks and company vehicles and delivers materials as required
Employee may be required to travel for work to other locations

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a warehouse and shipping/receiving environment
Possess advanced leadership skills
Ability to coordinate shipping involving hazardous materials
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must have strong administrative skills
Current driver's license with a good driving record
Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred

Experience in a manufacturing or ship building/repair environment is a plus
Forklift experience is a plus
Familiarity with control of Calibrated tools, Government property & DRMO process is a huge plus
