Prospect, develop, and close new employee benefits business
Build and manage a self-sourced book of business
Retain and expand existing client relationships
Design and deliver strategic employee benefits solutions
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and carrier requirements
Collaborate with leadership to support long-term growth initiatives
Manage your portfolio independently in a performance-driven environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of employee benefits insurance production experience
Demonstrated success prospecting, closing, and retaining small, mid-market, or large group clients
Hunter mentality with strong business development skills
At least 50% of current book self-sourced
Strong knowledge of benefits strategy, compliance, and carrier relationships
Established professional network within the market
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
Comfortable working independently in a startup-minded, high-performance environment
Preferred
Experience with self-funded and captive arrangements preferred
