Interim Finance & Accounting Business Development Manager
Korn Ferry is a global organizational consulting firm that helps clients synchronize strategy and talent to drive superior performance. They are seeking an Interim Finance & Accounting Business Development Manager to build relationships with F&A leaders, drive business development efforts, and enhance career opportunities for consultants. This role focuses on selling and closing interim business while collaborating with other teams within the firm.
Responsibilities
Opportunity to build a specific book of business selling and closing interim business with F&A leaders
Drive business development efforts to align with the vision and overall objectives of the firm
Ensure all current and prospective clients understand and comprehend the overall mission of Korn Ferry
Interview, source and represent current and prospective consultants in opportunities that will continue to enhance their career objectives
Responsible for consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives for Korn Ferry
Accountable for driving the business in a direction that ensures financial targets are met or exceeded on a consistent basis
Project-oriented, analytical thinker open to communicating new ideas and strategies
Work in a team-oriented environment while still acting in an independent leadership capacity
Collaborate as a team with other Managing Consultants working for our affiliate business lines to create brand awareness and growth potential
Join professional networking organizations to represent Korn Ferry to the community
Identify opportunities to join a Board or a cause that you are passionate about
Exude leadership and professionalism at all times and in all situations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5++ years' experience in accounting or finance that may be looking to stay connected with F&A leaders but transition your career to a business development role
Ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels within the organization, as well as with clients and the public; become a public representative and face of Korn Ferry
Ability to work with a dynamic team of seasoned professionals in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and incorporating fun into the team culture
Bachelor's degree is required
Preferred
Additional experience in a sales environment is preferred but we will train F&A professionals that are wanting to shift into selling F&A interim solutions to corporations in the Minneapolis market
A proven track record in leadership, sales, and recruiting in the local marketplace is a plus
MBA, CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
