They are seeking a Mechanical Technician to work in their Sidney, OH location, collaborating with product engineers to design, develop, and qualify compressors for HVACR systems while contributing to laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

Follow engineering laboratory instructions to assemble CO2 compressors for developmental testing
Use of hand tools, power tools, cutting, welding, and brazing equipment
Utilize hydraulic/electrical/mechanical schematics and exploded view blueprints
Fabricate supporting test fixtures and controls required for non-standard tests or builds
Review data for compliance with applicable build standards
Perform various tasks related to the upkeep of the lab
You will be responsible for completing required tests or builds and communicating results with engineers
You will provide input on optimizing work processes to improve the overall efficiency of the lab

Required

High school diploma plus two to three (2-3) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have basic mechanical, electrical skills, and/or HVAC/R

Must have personal computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs
Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
