Responsibilities
Define RF system and subsystem requirements, creating block diagrams for advanced RF communication systems
Design RF front ends, including component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout for LNAs, PAs, filters, and antennas
Lead RF testing efforts, including lab-based component/system testing and planning/execution of field tests
Drive prototype development and customer demonstrations, supporting business development and customer engagements
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in RF/microwave and mixed-signal system design, with strong front-end receiver expertise
Proven RF/mixed-signal PCB design and layout experience
Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Proficiency with RF design and simulation tools such as Altium/Orcad, ADS/Microwave Office, and HFSS or CST
Preferred
Programming and analysis experience in Matlab, Python, C/C++, or similar languages
SDR experience and strong knowledge of modern wireless systems (e.g., EW, radar, SIGINT, SATCOM, or 3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi)
Expertise in one or more DSP areas such as modulation/demodulation, synchronization, FEC, beamforming, or adaptive filtering
Experience with DFM, rapid prototyping, mechanical CAD tools, and mentoring or teaching engineers
