Product Manager – Water Features & Pond Systems
Aquascape, Inc. is a leading North American company specializing in the design and installation of water features. They are seeking a Product Manager to own water feature and pond system products from idea to launch, combining technical expertise and market insights to create innovative products that connect people to water.

Responsibilities
Own and evolve product lines across ponds, waterfalls, and fountains
Build product roadmaps that align with Aquascape’s brand, growth goals, and customer needs
Identify new opportunities and lead product development from concept through launch
Manage product improvements, cost optimization, and lifecycle transitions
Track performance, margins, and customer feedback to guide decisions
Define technical requirements for pumps, filtration, skimmers, lighting, controls, and water treatment products
Partner with engineering to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards
Participate in prototype reviews, testing, and field trials
Translate technical performance into clear, compelling benefits for the market
Support product training and launch materials alongside marketing and sales
Identify and develop domestic and global suppliers who meet Aquascape’s quality standards
Lead RFQs, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations
Collaborate on design-for-manufacturing, quality improvements, and lead time optimization
Monitor sourcing risks and material cost trends
Drive accountability through ongoing supplier performance reviews
Serve as the voice of the customer and product across the organization
Partner with marketing on positioning, messaging, packaging, and launches
Support sales teams with training, competitive insights, and field feedback
Coordinate with operations on forecasting, inventory, and production readiness
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in industrial or technical product management
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test data
Experience working directly with domestic and/or international suppliers
Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
A balance of analytical thinking, creativity, and practical problem-solving
Ability to commute to Saint Charles, IL 60174
Are you able to travel 3-4 weeks annually, including international travel?
