Responsibilities

Working closely with Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s) in design/drafting capacity

Performing basic calculations

Conducting on-site construction observation of work in progress

Preparing plans and profile drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D

Reviewing project design manual(s) for specification requirements

Assisting in preparation of drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, and other reports required for project permits and approvals

Qualification

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (or related field), preferably from an ABET-accredited program

Legal authorization to work in the U.S

Valid US Driver's License is required

Team player possessing strong communication, planning, and organizational skills

Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays

Preferred

E.I.T. certification preferred

Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm preferred

AutoCAD Civil 3D experience/knowledge is a plus

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Course work and/or 0 to 2 years' experience may include: Subdivision, Municipal Engineering, Stormwater Management, Water Distribution and Treatment Systems, Wastewater Collection, Conveyance, and Treatment Systems Processes, Hydraulics, On-Lot Systems, Environmental Assessment, Traffic Signalization, Traffic studies and analyses, Intersection improvements, Parking Facilities, Highway, and Roadway Safety Design
