Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering workshops with business users to understand and document business processes and requirements in Oracle EBS R12
Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions
Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements
Develop functional design documents (MD50, BR100, CV60) and collaborate closely with technical teams for RICEW development and integration activities
Carry out end to end functional testing of upgrades or customizations and Capture test results for audits
Support and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration testing (SIT), and provide end-user training
Assist in Oracle EBS R12 upgrade projects and ensure all functional customizations are compatible and well-documented
Act as the primary point of contact for production support, incident management, and issue resolution within functional areas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other business systems and third-party applications
Document and implement process improvements, best practices, and standard operating procedures
Provide functional expertise and guidance to business stakeholders and end users on Oracle EBS capabilities and enhancements
Qualification
Required
Expert in Oracle Applications (EBS R12), Business Processes, and Manufacturing/SCM/WMS Functional Modules
8+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant (R12 and related technologies)
Strong expertise in Oracle SCM modules (INV, WIP, BOM, OM, WMS, PO), with deep knowledge of business processes and best practices
Proven experience in requirement analysis, solution design, gap analysis, and process mapping
Hands-on configuration experience in Oracle EBS SCM and Manufacturing modules
Familiarity with RICEW components and ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
Experience with Oracle EBS upgrades, patching, and functional testing
Strong understanding of integration points between Oracle EBS and third-party systems testing
Experience with production support, incident management, and change management processes
Proficiency in developing functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials
Familiarity with Agile methodology (SAgile) and working in cross-functional project teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels and translate business needs into system solutions
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) from a functional perspective
Knowledge of Oracle Apex and ability to coordinate with technical teams for custom reporting or minor enhancements
Understanding of REST/SOAP Webservice integration and ability to work with technical teams on integrations
