Responsibilities
Lead efforts to identify, triage, and resolve data quality issues within key data domains such as Product, Vendor, and Client
Champion data governance best practices by ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, educating stakeholders, and supporting system and process enhancements
Analyze root causes of data issues across the Master Data Management platform and related systems and recommend solutions
Develop and refine data controls, business rules, and validation procedures to improve data accuracy and consistency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and document business definitions, supporting a strong data governance framework
Drive process improvements and ensure data assets are optimized for strategic decision-making and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data stewardship or data management roles
Minimum of 3 years working within the Product, Vendor, and/or Client data domains
At least 2 years of experience with data management environments such as MDM, Operational or Analytical DBMSs, Data Lakes, or Data Stores
Hands-on experience with Master Data Platforms such as STEP by Stibo, Informatica MDM, or similar
Preferred
Experience with research tools including AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot
Advanced Excel and geo-mapping tools such as Google or Bing Maps
Familiarity with incident reporting tools like ServiceNow, BMC Helix, JIRA, or Azure DevOps
SQL query construction skills for data analysis
Proficiency with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Click
Exposure to SAP S4 Hana
Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
