Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update regulatory policies, guidance, and internal interpretations
Evaluate new regulations and assess their impact on products, transactions, and business units
Draft comment letters and participate in industry forums on technical regulatory topics
Engage with regulators and industry groups on reporting standards, capital, and liquidity rules
Advise stakeholders on regulatory reporting, product analysis, and complex transactions
Review and validate data across major regulatory reports, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Support Basel III, capital adequacy, and CCAR/ stress testing reporting initiatives
Collaborate on cross-functional projects to enhance regulatory compliance infrastructure
Implement new regulatory reporting standards, ensuring business alignment and adherence
Lead or contribute to training sessions for staff on regulatory reporting obligations
Ensure governance and control standards are applied across regulatory models

Required

7+ years in regulatory reporting, advisory, or quality assurance roles within banking or financial institutions
Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks (capital, liquidity, leverage, Basel III), as well as BCBS rules
Hands-on experience with FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, FR 2052a, FFIEC 002, FR Y-15, FOCUS, or similar reporting structures
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (advanced degree or CPA a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and business advisory skills
Experience interpreting regulatory rules for senior leadership and providing actionable guidance

Preferred

Familiarity with Japanese regulatory frameworks or cross-border operations is a plus, but not required
