Responsibilities
Direct the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
Manage third party vendors including scheduling and managing work activities
Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building
Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures
Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used
Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets
Attend daily/ weekly client staff meetings
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays
3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance and building operations
Knowledge of automated conveyors and controls, including ability to read blueprints and schematics, and work with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs
Strong technical computer skills and software proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proven leadership experience managing technical staff across multiple shifts
Strong communication skills for vendor management and team leadership
Work in various indoor/outdoor environments and weather conditions
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing, walking, and working in various positions for extended periods
Capability to lift equipment and materials up to 50 pounds
Preferred
Previous vendor management experience
Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
