Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance
Oversee all SEC filings; this will include 10-K, 10-Q, and more
Manage all complex transactions
Accounting research, including the rollouts for policy changes as required
Lead all efforts that relate to statutory reporting, compliance, etc. -- within the US and across the globe
Collaborate with the accounting team to assist with journal entry prep, account recs, and may other cross-functional tasks
Take on a leadership presence for all process improvements; this will relate to ways to create efficiencies via technology among other areas
Oversee a team of direct reports - working consistently to grow & develop their skills
Audit & Tax support as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting / Finance
5-7+ years of experience, including time within SEC Reporting
Ability to manage a team
Dynamic communication skills, including an eagerness to work cross-functionally
