Partner closely with project managers, field leadership, and corporate accounting to ensure accurate project setup, timely invoicing, and strong cash flow
Improve and standardize project accounting processes
Monitor aging reports and support timely collections in partnership with operations
Partner with project managers and field teams on cost tracking and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
5 or more years of experience in construction or project accounting
Strong experience with time-and-materials and fixed-price or percentage-of-completion billing
Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition under ASC 606
Experience overseeing project billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable performance
Ability to monitor aging reports and support timely collections in partnership with operations
Experience partnering with project managers and field teams on cost tracking and reporting
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clear communication skills with both accounting and operations teams
Preferred
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience leading or mentoring billing staff
Background in construction, environmental services, or project-driven environments
Experience improving billing workflows or accounting processes
Proficiency with ERP systems, Acumatica preferred
Advanced Excel skills
