Responsibilities
Support installation, integration, and commissioning of control and monitoring systems
Perform checkout, testing, and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, managed switches, PQMs, and other automation hardware
Work with Ignition SCADA systems and participate in Ignition training initiatives
Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and network drawings
Utilize Procore and other project management tools for site coordination and documentation
Collaborate with engineering teams to provide technical feedback and support design improvements
Ensure safe and efficient field operations across all project phases
Assist in training and mentoring team members to develop technical capability
Apply strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills in all tasks
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of hands-on technical experience in field service, controls, or electrical systems
Education or technical training equivalent to a 2-year STEM degree, trade school, or military technical background
Experience working with data centers or mission-critical environments
Experience with PLC programming and HMI development
Experience with SCADA systems and network integration
Experience with electrical schematics and troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Strong time management skills
Preferred
Knowledge of MODBUS and TCP/IP communication protocols
Familiarity with Ignition SCADA, Procore, and automation hardware setup
