Project Controls Coordinator – Lender Relations
CMR Partners, LLC. is a company that focuses on construction project performance and management. They are seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support planning, tracking, and reporting of construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Support project controls activities including cost tracking, scheduling updates, forecasting support, and reporting
Assist with reviewing project budgets, contracts, and schedules for completeness and accuracy; escalate discrepancies as identified
Maintain cost tracking logs, cash flow data, and change management documentation
Prepare and update routine reports and dashboards for internal teams and project leadership
Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and consultants to gather and reconcile project financial and schedule information
Assist with variance analysis by tracking budget vs. actuals and schedule updates
Monitor project data for potential risks or inconsistencies and flag issues to project leadership
Support the use and maintenance of project controls tools, templates, and reporting processes
Maintain organized project documentation and reporting records
Contribute to accurate, timely, and transparent project reporting to support client satisfaction
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, or construction project management
Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Effective communicator with experience preparing client-facing reports
Preferred
Associates degree or some college coursework in Construction Management, Business or Accounting
