Warranty Coordinator
Kelly is offering a long-term contract position for a Warranty Coordinator who will manage ongoing Warranty Claims in the Americas project organization. The role involves partnering with various leaders to ensure visibility and resolution of Warranty Claims while maintaining customer communication and driving claims to closure.
Responsibilities
Consolidate all open Warranty Cases across all customer projects: provide visibility on status, actions, next steps, and necessary escalations and drive to closure
Track and categorize all Warranty claims according to status, actions, and customer agreement or dispute
Communicate with customers/ EPCs and align on status/ interpretation per Warranty Claim
Track Warranty Claim progression with Service team
Developing specialized knowledge in Warranty issues. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility
Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems and prepares decisions on more complex or costly claims
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree
Several years of experience in Power Generation/Product Knowledge, ideally in field, engineering, supply chain, or project management adjacent function
Preferred
Gas power or power generation experience to manage the allocated equipment only projects
Ability to monitor and manage all ongoing Warranty Claims and drive them to closure
Experience partnering with Portfolio Leaders, PMs, and PDs to provide visibility of Warranty Claim status
Skills in suggesting resolution steps for disputed Warranty Claims
Experience maintaining continuous contact with customers and GE Vernova site teams
Ability to consolidate all open Warranty Cases across all customer projects
Experience tracking and categorizing all Warranty claims according to status, actions, and customer agreement or dispute
Skills in communicating with customers/EPCs and aligning on status/interpretation per Warranty Claim
Experience tracking Warranty Claim progression with Service team
Developing specialized knowledge in Warranty issues
Awareness of latest technical developments in own area
