Responsibilities

Analyze business objectives and technical requirements to design optimal network solutions
Architect and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity between on-premises environments and AWS
Design secure, high-performance network architectures aligned with governance and compliance standards
Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to support migrations and optimize operations
Define network governance standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
Ensure routing, segmentation, and firewall policies align with enterprise architecture principles
Design high availability and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical systems
Conduct feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, and technical impact assessments
Document system designs, network architectures, and implementation plans
Support system lifecycle activities and evaluate proposed technical changes

Required

8+ years of experience in network architecture across on-prem and AWS environments
Strong expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies
Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
Deep understanding of network security principles, encryption, identity, and compliance frameworks
Experience designing high availability, load balancing, and failover solutions
Familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD integration
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams

Preferred

Experience with multi-cloud networking (Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models
Exposure to SD-WAN and network observability tools (NetFlow, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies
Relevant certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer
