LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm, and they are currently seeking a Mid-Level Design Engineer to join their team in Cleveland, Ohio. The successful candidate will perform engineering design tasks, develop specifications, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with clients and project managers.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering design tasks for projects from preliminary to final design
Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
Establish working relationships and contact with client technical staff and project manager
Provide engineering design services for traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build projects
Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design and constructions plans
Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors and client managers
Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling performance
Actively participate and serve in positions with professional organization(s)

P.E. licenseCivil engineering degreeAutoCAD Civil 3DDOTs experienceMentoringCollaborationCreative thinking

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
P.E. license
4-9 years of experience

Preferred

Experience working with DOTs
AutoCAD Civil 3D software experience
