Responsibilities
Manage monthly accounting for clients, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation
Handle sales tax returns and payroll as needed
Perform administrative tasks such as greeting clients, scanning documents, calling clients, and walking them through signing returns
Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Communicate directly with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide guidance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm policies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm environment
QuickBooks Online software experience
Proven track record of managing multiple clients and workloads
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping software
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with outsourcing is highly preferred
