Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of the global consolidated ASC-740 provision for a multinational, publicly traded manufacturing company

Ensure compliance with ASC-740 and other relevant tax regulations, including the coordination of tax accounting activities across various jurisdictions

Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the tax team

Oversee the timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including federal, state, and international filings

Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations and requirements

Partner with the senior management team to develop and execute tax strategies that optimize the company's tax position and minimize liabilities

Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to proactively address potential impacts on the company's tax strategy

Continuously evaluate and enhance tax processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting and compliance

Implement best practices and technology solutions to streamline tax-related activities
