Inside Sales Representative (Specialty Lines)
People's Trust Insurance Company is seeking a driven Internal Territory Manager to expand their footprint in the specialty insurance market. This role focuses on building relationships with independent insurance agencies through phone, email, and video conferencing to promote their suite of insurance products.
Responsibilities
Execute high-volume outreach to independent insurance agencies
Train agents on how to effortlessly attach our ancillary products—Flood, Life, Jewelry, and Pet—to their existing homeowners or auto business
Train agents on our proprietary quoting platform, walking them through their first bind to ensure they are comfortable quoting multiple lines of business
Teach agents how to spot opportunities
Identify agencies that have been appointed but aren't quoting, call them, find out why, and re-introduce them to our new product offerings
Qualification
Required
2+ years of Inside Sales or Business Development experience (Insurance industry preferred)
Active 20-44 Personal Lines Agent or 02-20 General Lines Agent License preferred
Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, etc.)
Excellent verbal communication skills—you can command a room (or a Zoom call) with your voice
