Responsibilities
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, and nights as dictated by business needs
Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following and enforcing policies and procedures
Build the district Field Activity Support Team (FAST). This includes hiring/staffing decisions, Team Member retention, Team Member training and development, succession planning, Team Member performance reviews and counseling, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Create/manage the schedule and payroll management. This includes scheduling the team’s travel to specified stores, the work performed by the FAST Team Members while in those stores, timeframes spent by the team in stores, building an effective team to work together, including the number of FAST Team Members required to complete tasks
Lead execution of Tractor Supply Company standards. This includes merchandising and inventory standards/processes, merchandise and fixture assembly, signage maintenance, as well as planning and delegation of daily tasks
Communicate proactively and regularly with the Regional FAST Manager on project status, obstacles to completion, and offer solutions to overcome
Provide recommendations to and partner with the Regional FAST Manager on process changes and enhancements
Support the District Manager in achieving overall merchandising goals for the District
Maintain regular communication with the District Manager and Store Managers regarding your team’s planned activities within the district, as well as any progress and/or challenges
Put the customer first when approached and provide legendary customer service while in store through the use of GURA:
Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain visual merchandise standards
Perform store specific measurements
Complete store layout initiatives
Perform accurate counts for store inventories, as well as cycle counts
Complete Tractor Way top cap process
Hang store signage
Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs
Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity
Provide peak coverage as needed (E.g., DAT)
District FAST Supervisor may also be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5 years of retail and/or merchandising experience
2 years of retail leadership and/or merchandising leadership experience
Profit/Loss, scheduling, shrink control, payroll management, staffing, hiring, supervising and counseling experience
Must possess a valid driver's license
High School diploma or the equivalent
Ability to read, write and count accurately
Preferred
Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Ability to perform and execute principle responsibilities of FAST Team Members
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict
Ability to be forklift certified
