SoTalent is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Investment Analyst to join their investment team. The role involves supporting portfolio construction, risk management, and investment strategy across major asset classes through data analysis and model building.

Responsibilities

Apply quantitative and analytical techniques to support asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management at both total portfolio and asset-class levels

Build and produce risk and exposure reports, and monitor portfolio performance, attribution, and key risk metrics

Maintain and enhance internal tools and databases used for investment analysis, monitoring, and reporting

Conduct market and portfolio research and deliver analytics-driven insights that inform portfolio risks and positioning

Produce and maintain periodic reports and screeners across various markets and asset classes, collaborating with operations, accounting, and other support teams to ensure accurate execution and reporting

Develop expertise in financial time series analysis, statistical methods, and advancements in quantitative finance, and participate in webinars, conferences, and training to stay current

Research and implement ideas from academic and practitioner literature to improve portfolio outcomes, and perform ad-hoc analysis as needed

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related)

Programming skills with proficiency in Python

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

High sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred

Prior investment industry experience

Familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, BI tools, and databases
