Responsibilities
Assists with recruiting, hiring, orientation, ensures training, disciplines and terminates license technicians adhering to all GKA and Unique Source policies and procedures. Recognizes and acknowledges positive performance of employees
Assists with scheduling employee hours to fulfill contract specifications and quality requirements within budgeted labor hours and to facilitate achievement of ratios of disabled labor hours necessary to retain the contract. Maintains all time and attendance records and schedules vacation leave while ensuring adequate coverage
Serves as lead point of contact for designated sites; ensures that coverage occurs at those sites
Performs as a crew member as needed
Attends required training and fulfills the requirements as stated by Unique Source
Works with all appropriate staff to ensure full compliance on all Unique Source contracts, specifically maintaining documentation to Unique Source standards
Participates in project, department and agency meetings as required
Promotes an environment of workplace safety by training and informing others regarding safety standards/precautions. Monitors safety and takes corrective action. Assures that regulatory safety requirements are adhered to
Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the Director of Business Services
Qualification
Required
Two (2) years of post-secondary education or specialized post high school education required
Two (2) to four (4) years of recent work experience in a supervisor/leadership capacity; or any combination of education and experience
Must pass a security clearance and be free of prior convictions
Must maintain a cell phone and be accessible to employees as necessary
Must possess good communication skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to work beyond normal schedule to ensure contract compliance
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle or reliable transportation
