Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of escalation for security-related technical and process issues
Design, configure, and maintain security architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security platforms
Monitor and analyze security logs, perform trend analysis, and identify top security incidents to mitigate future risks
Create and update firewall rule sets, policies, and device configurations while ensuring compliance
Support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security awareness programs across the organization
Document and improve security processes, and coordinate planned changes with stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field
2–5 years of hands-on experience in firewall solution delivery, including design, deployment, administration, and support
At least 1 year of experience managing Check Point firewalls at R7x level (preferably R75+); experience with R8x (e.g., R81.20) is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of networking communications and network security principles
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to present ideas clearly in technical and business-friendly language
Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments
Proven ability to research and resolve a wide range of security issues
