The Research Director will lead the growth strategy for SAP/ERP Security, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity, overseeing content direction and community engagement to drive revenue and client retention.

Responsibilities

Build the strategic growth plan assuring strong YoY bookings and revenue growth and high levels (90%+) of client (solution provider vendors) retention

Achieve the SAP/ERP Security, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity Software Market team monthly/quarterly/annual bookings and revenue budgeted growth goals

Build a network of SAPinsider content experts to drive your overall market and content agenda as well as contribute to publishing and events

Lead the content direction and research agenda on all SAPinsider SAP/ERP Security, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity channels including website, research, magazines, newsletters, forums and events

Work with a dedicated Research Editor to drive daily thought leadership publishing

Build a rapidly growing member community of SAP/ERP Security, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity professionals that contribute to and subscribe to all content, events and networking

Establish deep relationships across the SAP vendor landscapes at the CMO, Field Marketing, Event Management, Product Marketing & Product Management roles

Lead all technology briefings with all key software and solution providers and publish SAPinsider Technology Insight videos and briefs on each

Assure that all outbound marketing campaigns are built on the key issues for the SAP/ERP Security, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity communities

Publish a weekly Security Management Insights digital newsletters addressing the key Security issues within the marketplace

Direct a team of editors, marketing and event programmers to publish daily on key Security issues facing the SAPinsider Community

Publish a featured article in each quarterly edition of SAPinsider Magazine

Own the overall performance for each of the Security Events and Summits

Direct the overall session agenda, speaker acquisition and sponsor selling for every event and summit focused on the SAP/ERP Security, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity spaces

Featured speaker at each SAPinsider Event & Summit

Featured speaker at SAP/ERP Security, Cloud Security & Cybersecurity industry events

Required

Proven sales and revenue growth skills and experiences

Experience in Security software product marketing or product management

Proven experience in business building in a content publishing, digital marketing and event services business model

Direct experience with SAP ERP, Security Software vendors, Security processes and tools, SAP BTP, data security, cloud security, application security, AI adoption in security and security automation software

Understanding of SAP ERP and Security software and technology product marketing and product management go to market requirements

Exceptional marketing, sales, writing and publishing experience

Exceptional speaking and interviewing skills
