Responsibilities

Assist in implementation and execution of process and procedures surrounding all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and operational requirements of the BDC

Assist in execution, review and implementation of monitoring controls, including SOX compliance, over accounting & operational deliverables

Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial SEC reporting requirements (10Q and 10K)

Maintain shadow books on VPM and resolve breaks with Fund Admin

Work closely with operations on trade settlement, cash management, and coordination with custodians, administrators, and counterparties

Assist with expense management

Assist in the preparation of quarterly reporting packages to the Board of the BDC

Assist with RIC and tax compliance monitoring

Assist in tracking investor fund flows, requirements surrounding leverage facility reporting and track BDC liquidity pertaining to deal flow pipeline and other cash needs

Required

CPA REQUIRED

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Fund Accounting or related field (Credit, Venture Debt, or Private Equity experience is preferred). BDC specific experience preferred

BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting

Relevant professional experience including public accounting, fund accounting, public company reporting in the fixed income or alternative asset management space, including BDC, REIT, Closed-End and/or Open-Ended structures
