Responsibilities
Coach Scrum teams on Agile principles, values, and best practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid models)
Enable teams to become self-organizing, high-performing, and outcome-driven
Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
Identify and address team impediments, dependencies, and systemic delivery challenges
Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leaders to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery
Drive sprint and release planning, backlog refinement, and capacity management
Track and communicate delivery metrics including velocity, throughput, predictability, and cycle time
Ensure alignment between roadmap commitments and team execution
Support agile adoption across multiple teams and programs
Coach leaders on agile mindset shifts, servant leadership, and organizational change
Help define and implement scalable agile frameworks and operating models
Promote continuous improvement through experimentation and data-driven insights
Act as a bridge between Product, Engineering, Design, QA, and Business stakeholders
Facilitate dependency management across teams and functions
Improve transparency through dashboards, reporting, and clear communication
Support program-level planning and execution when needed
Establish and evolve agile KPIs and delivery metrics
Use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve team effectiveness
Lead retrospectives at both team and program levels
Champion a culture of learning, feedback, and continuous improvement
Mentor junior Scrum Masters and delivery managers
Contribute to agile community of practice and internal playbooks
Influence agile standards, tools, and best practices across the organization
Qualification
Required
8–12+ years of experience in agile delivery roles (Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Delivery Manager)
3+ years operating at a senior or enterprise coaching level
Proven success enabling multiple teams in fast-paced, product-driven environments
Experience supporting distributed or remote teams
Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and hybrid agile frameworks
Strong understanding of product development lifecycles for software, SaaS, or digital platforms
Familiarity with agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally, Miro)
Ability to work with engineering concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
Preferred
Experience with scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced CSM (A-CSM)
Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe SPC, or Agile Coach certifications
PMI-ACP or equivalent
